Cold snap moments

A few moments of good light and good company. We have been staying inside, and the art work is proliferating. The Christmas cards turned into New Year' cards, and now we are doing St. Valentines...will I ever mail them to their places? I hope I do because I am running out of space.

This is the end of January. A whole month just went by and I still feel like some sort of zombie around here. Everybody says the best part of winter is coming so I am looking forward to that. We just got a new blender and I feel a kick of smoothies coming strong. How about you? How are you coping with your winter?

These are precious photos. I love the one with the sun light coming through the window and your daughter is doing art by it's light. So beautiful!
I am coping with winter by walking up our tall hill in the back yard to an old bench on top. The bench was my dear grandfather's bench which I painted red last summer. I love to sit up there with blankets and listen to winter. It is a great thinking spot. Happy times!
